Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has signed a seven-year broadcast rights deal with StarTimes to air the next season’s Kenyan Premier League, National Super League and national team matches.
In a tweet, FKF President Nick Mwendwa said the deal is worth $1.1mn per year.
At the start of last season, Kenyan Premier League was pulled off air after pay-TV channel SuperSport withdrew from airing matches, citing a breach of contract.
The news also comes days after FKF officially took over the running of the Kenyan league from KPL, after their term of office expired on September 24.
