The SVOD service has successfully established mutually beneficial partnerships with several telecommunications companies in the region.
SVOD service StarzPlay has entered into a partnership with Asiacell, a mobile telecommunications and data services provider in Iraq. Under the new deal, StarzPlay’s streaming service will be available to all Asiacell’s ‘Unlimited’ monthly package subscribers.
With a subscriber base of over 14m customers, Asiacell is the first mobile telecommunications provider in Iraq to achieve nationwide coverage. Its network coverage, reaches some 99% of the Iraqi population with its 3.9G data services.
