Previously operated as Q8Plus 88.8, the radio station will now be under Tamdeen Group under a new name.
In a bid to diversify its business portfolio across multiple sectors, Kuwait’s mixed-use property developer Tamdeen Group has secured a license to operate the radio frequency of Q8Pulse 88.8, a major radio station in Kuwait. The station has now been rebranded as 360 FM.
Tamdeen Advertising Company, a subsidiary of Tamdeen Group, has planned a new content strategy for the radio station, which will include a wide variety of programmes ranging from entertainment, music, and sports content to educational programmes and talk shows that address issues relevant to society and youth.
The company secured a five-year license for the 88.8 radio frequency through a competitive bidding process by the Kuwait Ministry of information.
Talal Alyagout, CEO of Q8Pulse FM88.8, will retain his role at the station. The station will also continue broadcasting live from 360 Mall throughout the week with its team.
Alyagout said: “We have a goal to stimulate audiences across a full range of topics to achieve positive outcomes and meet the ever-evolving demands of our listeners and wider Kuwaiti society. We are going the extra mile to understand our audiences better and deliver a modern content. 360 FM, under Tamdeen Group, will attend to its valued audience and focus on their demands.”
