The Turkish series Deception (Aldatmak), produced by TIMS&B Productions and distributed globally by Inter Medya, has secured four nominations at the Produ Awards, one of Latin America’s top accolades.
The series, which made its debut in Latin America on Chilevision in Chile, is nominated for Best Non-Spanish Language Telenovela.
Renowned actress Vahide Perçin, who previously won Best Actress at the 2020 Produ Awards for Bitter Lands, is nominated again for her portrayal of Güzide Yenersoy in Deception in the Best Actress in a Foreign Language category.
Veteran actors Mustafa Uğurlu and Ercan Kesal also received nominations for Best Non-Spanish Speaking Actor for their performances in the series.
The Produ Awards Gala will take place virtually on October 30-31, with a 50-hour broadcast. A special two-hour broadcast will follow in Latin America, the US and Spain. The in-person gala will be held at MIPCANCUN, from November 19-22, 2024, in Mexico, with the participation of many industry professionals.
