These two films will compete under the Competition category at the Cannes Film Festival.
Two films co-financed by the Doha Film Institute (DFI) have been selected to be screened at this year’s 76th Cannes Film Festival, which runs from May 16 to 27, according to a report by The Peninsula.
The DFI-supported line-up includes About Dry Grasses and Club Zero, which will compete under the Competition category.
About Dry Grasses is by Qumra master Nuri Bilge Ceylon, a Turkish filmmaker, director, and photographer, while Club Zero is a film by Qumra master Jessica Hausner, an Austrian film director and screenwriter.
