Vice Media Group has promoted Gloria Abou Diwan from Head of Production to Senior Production Director MEA at Vice Arabia and Virtue MEA, according to a report by Campaign ME.
In her new position, Diwan will be responsible for Vice Media Group’s Arabia production department, based in KSA and UAE, which develops, produces, and distributes commercial advertising, branded content, entertainment, and editorial content. She will also spearhead Vice Arabia’s production operations on new ventures to be announced in the new year.
Diwan’s accomplishments include long-format documentaries such as The Wild Allies featured on NatGeo, the Grand Prix winning ad campaign It’s Possible, and the Vice Worldwide News docu-series Arab Spring, among others.
Prior to joining the Vice Media group, Diwan worked as a senior producer for a variety of global advertising agencies in Dubai. As a producer on multiple commercial productions with renowned international directors and regional lead production houses, she’s worked on regional TV Shows to advertising campaigns.
