PCCW’s pan-regional OTT service Viu will host two new Turkish titles, including a Viu Original.

We are excited to launch That Girl, a Viu Original and Twist of Fate on the Viu platform this Ramadan. These series are part of Viu’s ongoing co-production collaboration with Kanal D, a leading media group in Turkey and form an important part of Viu’s extensive lineup of brand-new series this Ramadan.”
That Girl (أحلام زينب) is a story about Zaynab, a young woman who struggles to make a living and keep her family together despite her father’s illness and constant financial hardship. A chance encounter with a wealthy man may alter her life indelibly. The ensemble cast includes the well-known actor Erkan Petekkaya along with Cengiz Orhonlu, Sezin Akbaşoğulları, Dilin Döger, and Ayten Uncuoglu. The drama plays out over 16, 145-minute episodes.
Twist of Fate (لعبة الحظ) asks the question “should you marry for love and risk the repeat of the family curse of failed marriages?” This is the question Ada is seeking the elusive answer to. Against the odds, she falls in love and marries the man of her dreams. But challenging fate can have unexpected consequences. The romantic comedy features a stellar cast with Aytaç Şaşmaz, Cemre Baysel, Idris Nebi Taşkan and Asli Sümen in key roles.
