With this partnership "No Sleep No FOMO", a travelogue series, will be screened on Discovery Channel and Discovery Asia in Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
PCCW Media Group’s Viu has announced a partnership with Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific on No Sleep No FOMO, a social media-engaged reality travelogue produced by pan-Asian OTT video service that will screen in 14 Asian markets.
The eight-episode reality travelogue show features several Asian celebrities and social media personalities in attractive destinations.
Participants are challenged to complete 60 missions within 60 hours without sleep in different cities. The host, Singapore entertainment veteran Paul Foster, is joined by celebrity co-hosts Kim Jong Kook from the hit-show Running Man (South Korea), singer/songwriter Eric Nam (South Korea), and social media stars Hana Tam (Hong Kong), Kevin Woo (South Korea), Alexander Lee Eusebio (South Korea), Benjamin Kheng (Singapore), Nat Ho (Singapore), Laureen Uy (the Philippines) and Taya Rogers (Thailand). Together, celebrities reach a fan base of more than 12m social media followers.
Effective immediately, No Sleep No FOMO will be screened on Discovery Channel and Discovery Asia in Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Discovery Channel and Discovery Asia reach over 22m households in these markets.
