Vox Cinemas will reopen in RAK and Sharjah on June 23 and 24 respectively.
Majid Al Futtaim has announced the reopening of Vox Cinemas at Al Hamra Mall in Ras Al Khaimah on Tuesday, June 23, and Vox Cinemas at City Centre Sharjah on Wednesday, June 24, following recent directives from the government authorities in both emirates. The announcement follows the reopening of Majid Al Futtaim’s leisure, entertainment and cinema experiences in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia earlier this week.
Speaking about the reopening, Cameron Mitchell, Chief Executive Officer of Majid Al Futtaim Cinemas and Majid Al Futtaim Leisure & Entertainment said, “Following the reopening of our entertainment venues in in Saudi Arabia earlier this week, I am delighted to announce the reopening of more of our leisure, entertainment and cinema experiences in Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah. Our team has been relentlessly planning and preparing to welcome back guests and we have introduced innovative new health and safety measures which have been successfully implemented across our entertainment experiences in Dubai. Since we reopened last month, 93% of guests in Dubai have said they are satisfied or extremely satisfied with our enhanced measures and we will continue to ensure a best in class experience for our guests in Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah, with health, safety and customer satisfaction at the forefront.”
Majid Al Futtaim’s leisure, entertainment and cinema experiences has announced that it will follow strict guidelines to ensure that guests are assured of the highest levels of safety and cleanliness. It is also now mandatory for employees to wear masks and gloves, and all team members will have their temperatures checked on arrival for their shifts.
Safe distancing ambassadors have been introduced and instructional signage has been installed to guide guests on best physical distancing practices. Vox Cinemas will operate at reduced occupancy. In cinema auditoriums, seats in front of, behind and next to a guest’s selection will be left vacant.
