Warner Bros. Discovery and Fujairah Holding have revealed the premiere date for Arabian Shores, a new series that explores the landscapes, cultural heritage and marine ecosystems of Fujairah. Hosted by food blogger Firas Kazma, the show will take viewers on an immersive journey through the emirate’s deep-rooted traditions and its strong connection to the sea.
Arabian Shores is set to debut on January 31 at 21:00 KSA time on Discovery Channel, available on OSNtv (channel 50), BeIN (channel 201), Jawwy TV (channel 205) and TV by e& (channel 360). Audiences can also stream the series on discovery+ via JawwyTV.
From the rugged Fujairah Mountains to the vast Arabian Sea, the series captures the region’s rich maritime heritage. Kazma ventures out to sea with local fishermen, experiencing firsthand their age-old techniques in catching bluefin tuna while shedding light on the challenges they face. The show also highlights Fujairah’s pioneering conservation efforts, offering an inside look at Hamour fish farming, innovative artificial reef protection methods, and broader sustainability initiatives aimed at preserving marine biodiversity.
In addition, Arabian Shores takes viewers behind the scenes at the Fujairah Research Centre, where the dolphin conservation process is documented. The series presents lab research, conservation strategies and expert insights, providing a comprehensive look into efforts to protect marine life.
