Yango Play has announced an upcoming exclusive premiere of the film Al Sada Al Afadel on its platform, timed to coincide with the movie’s continued screening in cinemas. The announcement comes as the film enjoys widespread popularity following its release in around 81 countries worldwide.
The film features Mohamed Mamdouh, Ashraf Abdel Baky, Mohamed Shaheen, Bayoumi Fouad, Entesar, Taha Desouky, Nahed El Sebai and Henady Mehanna, alongside a number of emerging talents. It is written by Mostafa Saqr, Abdel Rahman Gawish and Mohamed Ezzeldin, and directed by Karim El Shenawy.
Al Sada Al Afadel follows the story of the Abu El-Fadl family, whose stable and quiet life is upended after the death of their father, Galal. The eldest son, Tarek, is forced to shoulder new responsibilities, while his brother Hegazy returns from Cairo only to find that managing family tensions proves more challenging than treating his patients. The situation grows increasingly complicated with the arrival of Samir Italia, a mysterious figure who demands a substantial sum of money from the family.
As the brothers attempt to resolve their mounting problems, they are drawn into a chain of escalating crises involving their father’s debts and a collection of suspicious antique artifacts. Their efforts to set things right instead trigger a series of mishaps that deepen the family’s troubles, driving the film’s narrative through a blend of tension and darkly comic turns.
