YouTube is looking for a YouTube Space Manager for its upcoming facility in Dubai Studio City. Last December YouTube had announced that it will collaborate with Dubai Studio City to open its first Space in the MENA. The YouTube Space is now preparing to open doors for the local YouTube community in the region.
The YouTube Space Dubai @Studio City, which will be the tenth Space in the world, and will offer a production facility for both established and emerging YouTube creators, who are part of the YouTube Partner Programme. Once ready, the new Space will offer YouTube content creators from the MENA region, right from Dubai, to Jeddah, Cairo and Casablanca, free access to high-end audio, visual and editing equipment, in addition to training programmes, workshops and courses.
Since the first Space was launched in 2012, more than 150,000 people around the world have attended over 19,000 hours of workshops and over 15,000 videos have been created; garnering more than 165 million hours of watch time.
The Manager of YouTube Space Dubai will be required to work closely with the Global YouTube Spaces team to create a thriving space in Dubai and handle oversight of all business elements involved in delivering on the facility. This will include production, education and community activities in the Space, among other responsibilities.
The Manager will also be responsible for marketing and messaging internally and externally and manage relationships internally with Content Partnerships, Marketing, Sales, and others.
