Ninja TX GO is available immediately from Atomos resellers worldwide, and from the Atomos web store. Camera control will be a free-of-charge, over-the-air update for both Ninja TX GO and Ninja TX and will be available soon.
Atomos has announced the launch of Ninja TX GO, a new HDMI monitor-recorder designed to extend the performance of its Ninja TX series to a wider range of filmmakers and content creators. Tailored for HDMI-based cameras, the compact device integrates advanced monitoring, professional recording, camera control and cloud connectivity in one versatile package.
Featuring a 5-inch, 1500-nit HDR touchscreen, the Ninja TX GO delivers a significantly brighter and more accurate viewing experience than standard in-camera displays. It includes professional-grade monitoring tools such as EL Zone, waveform, vectorscope and focus peaking, enabling precise control over framing, exposure, and colour on set.
The device supports direct recording to CFexpress Type B or external USB-C SSD storage in multiple professional formats, including Apple ProRes, ProRes RAW, Avid DNx and H.265/H.264. With RAW-capable HDMI inputs, the Ninja TX GO records up to 6Kp30 RAW, ensuring image fidelity for mirrorless and DSLR workflows.
A standout feature of the Ninja TX GO is integrated camera control, allowing users to adjust exposure settings—such as aperture, shutter speed and ISO—directly from the touchscreen for compatible cameras from brands like Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, Sony and Z CAM.
Peter Barber, CEO, Atomos, said: “With Ninja TX GO, we’re bringing the power and flexibility of our flagship Ninja TX to an even broader community of creators. It’s a lightweight, incredibly powerful monitor-recorder that delivers professional-grade monitoring, recording, and control without compromise. It’s perfect for creators who want the best visual fidelity and workflow flexibility straight from their HDMI cameras.”
The Ninja TX GO also includes built-in Wi-Fi for seamless camera-to-cloud functionality, offering 20GB of free ATOMOSphere cloud storage and direct integration with platforms such as Frame.io, Dropbox and NDI 6/HX3 for live streaming.
For advanced production needs, the previously launched Ninja TX model adds SDI input/output, AirGlu wireless timecode, and expanded 8Kp30 RAW recording capabilities. Both devices operate on the new AtomOS platform, which offers improved performance, intuitive usability, and over-the-air updates, while a locking cable system ensures stability during demanding shoots.
