Broadcast Solutions will showcase live demonstrations and presentations from major systems integrators
Broadcast Solutions will be showcasing some of the latest technology at CABSAT 2023, from May 16 – 18. The presentations will build on the skills of Broadcast Solutions in building complete mobile and fixed facilities, as well as demonstrating products from some of the company’s key partners.
Demonstrations will include Broadcast Solutions’ own hi-human interface builder, audio products from DHD.audio, and AI products from Newsbridge. CABSAT will also feature the systems integration work of Thum + Mahr, acquired by Broadcast Solutions in 2022.
Broadcast Solutions has recently delivered two SNG units to Dubai Media Incorporated, the official government organisation. Broadcast Solutions also provides integration and implementation of fixed facilities, such as for news and archives.
News broadcasters will be particularly interested in the MXT-1 from Newsbridge, first unveiled last month at NAB. This brings artificial intelligence processing power to the analysis of video footage, generating human language descriptions of scenes at a remarkable speed: the scalable infrastructure can scan as much as 500 hours of video a minute.
Another partner company featured on the Broadcast Solutions stand is DHD.audio, which develops high-performance audio consoles and processing based on an IP core. Using IP processing results in compact infrastructures, making the consoles ideal for achieving extended facilities within the restrictions of an outside broadcast truck.
As media systems become more feature-rich, and the pressures on time and productivity ever greater, users need an intuitive, reliable and comprehensive monitoring and control layer. Broadcast Solutions has developed its own answer to this challenge: hi human interface. The next generation in broadcast control systems is designed to be as simple to use as a smartphone, while sitting on a distributed architecture for maximum resilience.
