Grass Valley will also be joined at FOMEX by members of the GVx Council, including industry leaders such as Phil Wiser of Paramount, Thomas Gunkel of Skyline Communications, and others.
Grass Valley will present its latest innovations in scalable, future-ready live production at FOMEX 2026, taking place from February 2 to 4 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Exhibiting at Booth 107, the company will demonstrate how its solutions help broadcasters, content creators, and media organisations streamline production workflows and focus on storytelling, from image capture through to playout.
As Saudi Arabia accelerates investment in media, sports, entertainment, and cultural content under Vision 2030, Grass Valley is supporting organisations that must expand production capacity rapidly while maintaining broadcast-grade performance and reliability. At FOMEX, the company will show how it blends established broadcast technology with cloud-based and software-as-a-service workflows to deliver flexible, modern production environments without sacrificing quality.
Jon Wilson, Chief Executive Officer of Grass Valley, said: “Our starting point is always listening to our customers, understanding how they want to work today and how they need to evolve tomorrow. Broadcasters and content creators in Saudi Arabia are operating at incredible scale and pace, and they need solutions that adapt to their workflows, not the other way around. Everything we are showing at FOMEX reflects that customer-led approach.”
A key focus of Grass Valley’s presence at the event will be the GV Media Universe, which integrates hardware solutions with the cloud-native AMPP Media Operating System into a unified production framework. By connecting on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, the platform enables production workflows that can evolve over time, reducing operational complexity and allowing creative teams to concentrate on content creation.
Grass Valley will also highlight recent product launches and enhancements designed to support live productions of all scales, from daily news coverage and regional sports to religious programming, national events, and major international productions. These solutions are built to scale quickly and reliably, supporting both permanent facilities and temporary, pop-up production setups.
The open and interoperable architecture of Grass Valley’s AMPP platform allows customers to integrate third-party tools and tailor workflows to meet creative, technical and operational requirements. This flexibility supports localisation and collaboration across diverse production teams and environments.
Beyond its technology showcase, Grass Valley will contribute to FOMEX 2026’s thought leadership programme. Louis Hernandez Jr., Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Black Dragon Capital and Chairman of Grass Valley, will participate in a panel discussion titled “The Media Technology Landscape – Mapping Influence and Leading Transformation,” offering insights into the forces shaping the future of media. Jon Wilson will also join a panel on building sustainable media partnerships, focusing on how innovation can be aligned with long-term value creation and economic sustainability.
Grass Valley will be joined at the event by members of the GVx Council, including industry figures such as Phil Wiser of Paramount and Thomas Gunkel of Skyline Communications. Council members will take part in panel sessions throughout FOMEX, sharing practical perspectives on modern media workflows, interoperability, and the ongoing transformation of live production.
Visitors to Grass Valley’s Booth 107 at FOMEX 2026 will be able to see how scalable and future-ready live production technologies can support Saudi Arabia’s evolving storytelling ambitions and connect local content with global audiences.
