London-based PAG Ltd will be exhibiting at CABSAT with Alphatron Broadcast Systems FZ LLC, the official distributor for PAG products in the Middle East.
Visitors to the PAG stand will be able to see the new PAG L90 slim battery, an ultra-lightweight and low-profile battery, designed to power small cameras when used on multi-copter aerial platforms or gimbals. The PAG L90 Slim claims to have the highest energy density of any 90Wh V-Mount Li-Ion battery brought to market. Also on show will be the established PAGlink system of intelligent linking batteries, chargers and accessories, available in V-Mount and Gold Mount formats.
Nigel Gardiner, Sales Director, PAG, said: PAGlink was developed in consultation with broadcast professionals and offers innovative, state-of-the-art digital technology. The batteries are not only smaller and lighter than our competitors products, they also feature unique benefits such as: longer run-time from combining the capacities of two or more batteries; a higher current-draw capability of up to 12A; and hot-swapping for continuous power. Linked battery charging and ultra-compact low-cost chargers are also unique to the PAGlink system. Importantly, PAG Li-Ion batteries are tested to UN standards, by an authorised, independent test facility, to ensure compliance with IATA air safety regulations. As of 1st January 2016, PAG offers a three-year guarantee on its PAGlink batteries.
The PAGlink battery system is being used by Sky News Arabia, Al Jazeera and MBC.
