The new mute button can be customised to address a variety of room types and configurations, whereas the MX415 Dual Cartridge Gooseneck Microphone provides maximum versatility.
Shure has launched its new Microflex MX415 Dual Cartridge Gooseneck Microphone. It also introduced its Microflex A400MB, a touch-sensitive mute button accessory that adds audio mute functionality to the Microflex MX395-LED low-profile boundary microphones and MX405, MX410, and MX415 modular gooseneck microphones.
Microflex MX415 Dual microphone mounted to a single, flexible gooseneck, low-profile dual cartridge housing ensures every word is captured simultaneously by two cardioid cartridges, each to a separate output preamp for reliable, multi-feed audio with a streamlined appearance for major broadcast events, corporate presentations, and all other critical use cases.
Each audio signal path is completely isolated with its own ground to ensure that electrical interference is not transferred between mics. With the integrated CommShield technology, RF interference from mobile devices is rejected, resulting in a clean signal to keep the focus on the speech.
The new A400MB mute button can be customised to address a variety of room types and configurations. If A400MB mute buttons are installed with multiple microphones on a table, pushing any mute button can mute all the mics simultaneously, and all microphone LEDs can also change colour to show that the outgoing audio has been muted.
When used with Shure ANI4IN-BLOCK or ANI22-BLOCK audio network interfaces and the IntelliMix P300 audio conferencing processor, the mute and LED behaviour is synchronised to simultaneously mute them with Microsoft Teams and Zoom video conferencing platforms. This means the user’s mute status is instantly visible to all meeting participants, whether in the same room or joining from thousands of miles away.
