Anuvu plans to launch a constellation of eight small satellites in Geostationary Orbit in a partnership with Astranis announced in 2021.
Under this agreement, Anuvu will acquire 10 Gigabits of Ka-band capacity, the largest acquisition in its Bridge to LEO strategy.
Anuvu has also secured board authorisation for new equity as needed to expand its small GEO constellation plans.
At one meter cubed and under 400kg, Astranis satellites can be built in months, not years.
All companies under the Global Eagle umbrella will be called Anuvu, apart from masFlight, NavAero, and Criterion.
