A total of $830,000 in cash prizes and $126,000 in-kind prizes were awarded to Saudi, Arab and African projects in the development and work-in-progress stages.

A total of $830,000 in cash prizes and $126,000 in-kind prizes were awarded to Saudi, Arab and African projects in the development and work-in-progress stages.
The Amman Film Industry Days (AFID), the professional arm of the festival, will take place within the same period.
The annual event is a key platform for Arab Cinema that continues to attract submissions from international filmmaking talent.
The number of cinema screens in Saudi Arabia is expected to grow to 2,500 screens by 2030 from 300 in 2020.
The upcoming edition will showcase 36 films from across 18 countries, including Arab and North Africa.
This is the first time a leading regional network has invested in several Arabic-language short films. The deal represents a big win for MENA filmmakers and distributors.
Among the participating films, "Elm el-Wosool" is the first Egyptian movie to screen at an international film festival since the beginning of 2019.
