Asmae El Moudir’s 'The Mother of All Lies' and 'Hanging Gardens' by Ahmed Yassin Al Daradji have also won awards at the 78th Venice International Film Festival.
The Final Cut in Venice workshop supports films in the post-production stage from Africa, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria.
