In a lawsuit supported by IBCAP, Michigan retailer Atlas Electronics has been ordered to pay more than $5.7m for selling pirated IStar service.
The International Broadcaster Coalition Against Piracy, which represents more than 150 TV channels from around the world, has successfully shut down some of the largest pirate services in the US.
Brooklyn-based retailer 786 Wireless and its owner, Rana Afzal, were also sued.
