Saudi film ‘Hajjan’ to close 14th edition of Malmö Arab Film Festival

For its 14th edition, the Malmo Arab Film Festival has also selected Beshara to preside over the jury responsible for assessing feature films.
The 10th edition of MAFF Industry Days will be held from April 23-26, 2024.
The commencement of the 14th edition of the film festival will be marked by the screening of the Sudanese film 'Goodbye Julia,' helmed by director Mohamed Kordofani.
Mohamed Kordofani both wrote and directed the film, which is a collaborative effort among talents from Sudan, Sweden, Germany, Saudi Arabia, France, and Egypt.
Three short films and four features have been submitted by MAD Solutions this year.
MAD Solutions has sent three shorts and four features to the festival.
Produced by Film Clinic, '19B' is headlined by Sayed Ragab, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Nahed El Sebai, and Fadwa Abed.
Fahmy has starred in 112 films throughout his career, from his debut in 1963 to the present.
The event will close with Egyptian film 'Hamel al-Lakab'.
Keblawi is also a founder of Arab Cinema in Sweden, a company that distributes Arab films in Sweden.
The programme was presented in collaboration with Generation 2030, a Franco-Saudi friendship association founded in 2019.
The programme includes 40 films, produced by 11 different Arab countries, with co-production partnerships from seven European countries.
The film is directed by Amir Ramses and star Elham Shahin, Amina Khalil among others.
Organised by Malmo Arab Film Festival, the Stockholm edition will open with Palestinian drama 'Wajib' (2017).
The films include 'Between Heaven and Earth' by Najwa Najjar, 'Haifa Street' by Mohanad Hayal.
The 95-minute documentary, which was released last year, will be showcased in Arabic with English subtitles on October 11.
