The CCPT subsequently restrained MultiChoice from raising prices on April 29. However, the company challenged the court’s jurisdiction and proceeded with the increase.
MultiChoice initially announced its agreement on a settlement with the Nigerian Federal Inland Revenue Service in March 2022.
From November 1, the new GOtv SUPA package will also be available, with channels including ROK, Honey TV, Nick Jr., Africa Magic Urban, WWE, and more.
The episodes will air weekly starting March 28 on Africa Magic Showcase, Urban and Family.
The price slash is part of MultiChoice’s long line of efforts to lessen the economic impact of COVID-19 on customers.
