Set for completion in 2025, the facility will feature two sound stages and a high-tech virtual production unit using Sony’s latest screen technology.
Tunisian film 'Promised Sky', supported by Red Sea Film Foundation, has been selected to open this year’s Un Certain Regard section at the 78th Festival de Cannes.Â
The Red Sea Film Foundation will also participate in the Saudi Pavilion at the European Film Market during the film festival.
The commission seeks to generate global interest in Saudi stories and productions while building connections with filmmakers around the world.
The Saudi pavilion aims to inspire global producers to explore the captivating filming locations of Saudi Arabia.
The open call closes on August 4, 2023, and a panel of Arab filmmakers will select the final projects to receive funding.Â
