The film made history as the first Saudi feature ever to be screened in Cannes’ Official Selection.
The film was supported by the Red Sea Fund and shot entirely in AlUla, northwest Saudi Arabia, featuring an all-Saudi cast and a 40% Saudi crew.
The film premiered locally at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah last December.
The company has planned to acquire and distribute Arabic and international content to cinemas and across traditional broadcast and streaming platforms within the MENA region.
In AlUla and across Saudi Arabia, the emerging screen sector is lifted by the ambition and potential of young Saudi nationals.
