The Arab Satellite 813 Project is the first space cooperation project between the Arab countries led by the UAE.
The project aims to empower student teams from various local and international universities to work on developing small satellites and then exchange experiences and knowledge among them.
More than 15 international space agencies are supporting and sponsoring the hackathon, which is being held for the eleventh year worldwide.
