Backed by the Saudi Film Commission, Neom and Riyadh-based production company AlSarid Films, 'Within Sand' is written and directed by first-time filmmaker Moe Alatawi.
The film will be released in Saudi Arabia on November 9 via Front Row Arabia.
The drama is Saudi filmmaker Moe Alatawi’s debut feature and features an all-Saudi cast led by Ra’ed Alshammari, Adwa Fahd, Muhand Alsaleh, Fatima Alsharif and Obaid Alwadaani.
Daw Film Competition, an initiative by Saudi Film Commission, aims to support and empower emerging Saudi film talent, and develop the Kingdom’s burgeoning film industry.
With filming underway in Badjdah, Neom, 'Within Sand' is set to release in November 2022.
