Arabsat is hosting a workshop with Algeria Telecom Satellite (ATS) in Algiers on May 15 and 16. The satellite operator will showcase its capabilities in satellite telecommunications and internet services covering Algeria.
In addition to its new satellite Badr 7 , Arabsat will also showcase the capabilities of its new sixth generation satellite that includes four new satellites. The first satellite is scheduled to be launched by the end of 2017, while the other two will be launched in 2018 on Arabsats various orbital positions.
The workshop comprises forums and seminars with international telecom experts and regional figures. The latest technology in the field of mobile telecommunications will be the key focus of the discussions in addition to Ka-bands capacity.
