Running from 21 December to 18 January, all 52 matches of Africa’s football tournament will be broadcast live complimented by studio coverage in Arabic, as well as commentary in English, Arabic and French.
BeIN Sports has announced an extensive broadcast lineup for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025, which begins on December 21, confirming wall-to-wall coverage across television and digital platforms throughout the Middle East and North Africa.
The broadcaster will operate four dedicated beIN Sports MAX channels in Arabic, English and French, delivering up to 15 hours of continuous live studio programming each day across 24 MENA markets. The setup is designed to give subscribers full access to every moment of the month-long tournament, Africa’s premier international football competition.
First staged in 1957, the Africa Cup of Nations will feature 24 national teams this year, including seven that have already secured qualification for the FIFA World Cup next summer. All 52 matches will be shown live and exclusively on beIN, with defending champions Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt led by Mohamed Salah, and hosts Morocco — fresh from their World Cup semi-final run — among the leading contenders.
BeIN Sports has been a long-standing broadcaster of African football, first airing live AFCON coverage in 2008 and maintaining uninterrupted coverage ever since. The four MAX channels will launch on December 11 with build-up programming, while live tournament coverage will begin on the evening of December 18, coinciding with the final of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025.
Coverage will be fronted by a team of leading presenters, commentators and analysts from the region, offering in-depth analysis, exclusive insights and live updates throughout the competition. Mohammed Saadon Al-Kuwari, Abdulaziz Al-Nasr, Amine Sebti and Ahmed Fouad will anchor the daily studio shows, while Nirvana El Abed will host special countdown programmes for the opening match on December 21 and the final on January 18.
All matches will be available in Arabic on beIN Sports MAX 1 and MAX 2, with English commentary on MAX 3 and French coverage on MAX 4. During the group stage, kick-off times are scheduled for 15:30, 18:00, 20:30 and 23:00 Mecca time. Studio coverage will begin 90 minutes before the first match of the day and continue late into the night. BeIN Sports NEWS will provide additional reporting from the ground, including team arrivals, press conferences, training sessions, fan reactions and activity from official fan zones, alongside a nightly bulletin airing at 21:00 Mecca time.
With six reporters stationed across nine stadiums in six cities, beIN said it will deliver in-depth on-site reporting, with particular focus on the five Arab teams competing in the tournament: Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Sudan and Tunisia.
Beyond television, beIN will also roll out comprehensive digital coverage through its on-demand services, official website and social media platforms. The broadcaster said content from the previous AFCON in 2023 generated more than 1bn video views and over 2bn impressions. For AFCON 2025, digital output will include exclusive online features, daily creative content, live match coverage, highlights, analysis and post-match celebrations, alongside push notifications for kick-offs, results and breaking news, with additional focus on Arab teams and emerging talents.
The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 will open on December 21, with hosts Morocco facing Comoros in Rabat at 22:00 Mecca time.
