With the advancing technology and the increasing demand for high-quality production and to overcome the companys challenges such as network bandwidth and load balancing which resulted in slow editing process, Montage was in need of a centralised storage system which would make their workflow more efficient by having one big storage and back-up system where they archived and easily accessed all the edited, composited, graded and animated files including their audio files without losing previous edits by a specific producer. Another requirement was a flexible system with the advantage of accessing and working on the project in EVO before the final approvals, allowing any assigned team member to access the project to make changes instead of waiting for just one person. One of their post-production requirements was a system, which would work with real time video streams flawlessly.
With its history of dealing with video files which differed from other forms, the SNS EVO storage system easily became their first choice.

When asked about the added value of EVO to the organisation, Gaby Feghali, Managing Director of Montage said: We can now easily access any project from any edit suite without the need to move the footage from there to the grading or graphics because the projects are not linked to edit suites. He also added this fastens the process and keeps everything organized with reduced redundancy with EVO being the main storage and back-up system.
About Montages future plans, Feghali added: We are constantly improving our internal workflow to accommodate the fast pace required by the digital media and the clients demand.
