Bechnak believes that being part of the Gofreelance initiative will help win more business from the private and public sectors while also reducing the red tape associated with freelance work.
Dubai-based event planner, Mohamed Chaker Bechnak recently joined the Gofreelance initiative, launched last month by TECOM Group along with Dubai Creative Cluster Authority. Bechnak, who was previously part of another free zone package in another emirate, migrated to the freelance package on August 12. The package costs USD 2038 with additional fees for visas and all add-ons.
Before Gofreelance, I had my trade license from another Free Zone in another Emirate in UAE. However, I have been living and working in Dubai since December 2002, so I decided to join Gofreelance when I read about the opportunity at Dubai Media City, he commented.
I think Gofreelance is an excellent idea with superb implementation. It is an extremely efficient and simplified application process that will surely boost business in Dubai. By being part of Gofreelance, I am confident that I will win more business from both the private and public sectors; and with the red tape being reduced to a minimum through e-government, along with other government initiatives encouraging FDIs, and upcoming major events such as EXPO 2020, the future looks very promising indeed.
