The film will be released in theaters on July 11 across the GCC.
The world premiere of Image Nation Abu Dhabi and Haywire’s upcoming Saudi-Emirati family comedy, Al Eid Eiden, took place at Warner Bros. World Yas Island, one of the film’s shooting locations. The event featured the film’s cast and crew, including stars Meera AlMidfa, Fahad Albutairi and Shadi Alfons, who walked the red carpet alongside the Emirati team behind the production: director Maitha Alawadi, producer Rawia Abdullah and writer Sara Al Sayegh.
Attendees enjoyed an immersive screening of Al Eid Eiden, a heartwarming comedy about a young Saudi-Emirati family on holiday in Abu Dhabi. As their vacation takes unexpected twists, the family experiences laughter, chaos and new friendships, ultimately growing closer.
The film stars Emirati actress Meera Almidfa as a mother balancing her independence and family responsibilities, and Saudi actor Fahad Al Butairi as a workaholic father learning to express his love. The couple’s children, played by Abdulmajeed Fahad, Layal Fahad, and Abdulmohsen Al Harbi, include mischievous Ali, headstrong Mariam, and shy Mohamed. The film also features performances by Shadi Alfons and Hassan Rajab Alhammadi.
Primarily filmed in Abu Dhabi, Al Eid Eiden showcases Yas Island and its main attractions, including The WB Abu Dhabi Hotel, the world’s first Warner Bros. themed hotel and Yas Mall.
The film will be released in cinemas on July 11 across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf region.
