Under the agreement, the partners will co-produce the premium Turkish drama 'Caged Love' (Tutsak Sevda).
Inter Medya, Turkey’s content producers and distributors, has entered a strategic co-production partnership with Rise Studios, the MENA-based media company building a collaborative ecosystem for high-quality storytelling across the region. The alliance brings together two creative powerhouses with the shared goal of expanding the global presence of premium scripted content.
Their collaboration aims to elevate stories with global appeal while strengthening regional creative output.
As part of the agreement, the companies will jointly produce the high-end Turkish drama Caged Love (Tutsak Sevda). Production is set to begin in January 2026, with casting and the international release strategy now in development. Inter Medya will act as executive producer and lead worldwide distribution.
Caged Love follows the story of a young woman forced to escape after being falsely accused of a crime. Assuming another identity to protect a vulnerable little girl, she becomes entangled with a powerful family whose world is built on secrets. The family’s distant and guarded patriarch initially distrusts her, but their relationship slowly shifts as suspicion gives way to unexpected attraction. As love emerges under the weight of concealed truths, she faces an impossible choice between the life she has built on borrowed identity and a future shaped by a love she never anticipated.
The project underscores both companies’ commitment to developing emotionally driven, internationally marketable drama from the ground up. By aligning creative and commercial strategies from the earliest stages, Inter Medya and Rise Studios aim to deliver content designed to resonate with audiences worldwide.
