'Chasing Dreams' is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Bassel Ghandour.
Doha-based Katara Studios has released its newest co-production Chasing Dreams on Shahid. The highly anticipated six-episode docu-series follows the inspiring journey of five refugee boys from Al Zaatari camp who get the opportunity to pursue their dream of becoming professional football players in Brazil. The series follows the boys’ journeys over three years and encompasses a powerful narrative and uplifting message of hope and determination.
Chasing Dreams is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Bassel Ghandour, known for the Oscar-nominated film Theeb. Hashem Sabbagh, who mentored the boys through their incredible journey, is the film’s executive producer.
Chasing Dreams is Katara Studios second Arabic production in the region. The project underscores their commitment to creating original Arabic content and highlighting inspiring stories.
