The duo already have a relationship with the streamer as producers on the 2021 Telugu film 'Cinema Bandi', currently streaming on Netflix.
Netflix has entered into a multi-year creative partnership with Indian filmmaking duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK.
Nidimoru and DK will develop and produce their upcoming projects for Netflix through their D2R Films production banner.

The dynamic duo has mastered distinct genre mash-ups with their quirky style, creating extraordinary stories that have won both critical acclaim and commercial success.”

Raj & DK will also be the show-runners and directors of Netflix’s upcoming comedy crime thriller series, Guns & Gulaabs, a story of love and innocence in a world of crime, a nostalgic tale of all kinds of firsts, from first love to the first kill.
Their previous production for Netflix includes the 2021 Telugu-language film Cinema Bandi, which was directed by Praveen Kandregula and is currently streaming on Netflix and A Viral Wedding, which is streaming on Eros Now.
