The series follows the Masire brothers who come face-to-face with a supernatural family curse while a web of betrayal threatens to destroy them.
Shona Ferguson, the executive producer of the series, stars as Simon “Vader” Masire, a member of the KOJ brotherhood and the eldest of the Masire siblings.
Other cast members include TK Sebothoma, Buhle Samuels, Tsholofelo Matshaba, SK Khoza, Abdul Khoza, Nnekwa Tsajwa and Cindy Mahlangu.
Kings of Jo’burg is the latest series to land on Netflix alongside Queen Sono and Blood & Water, which has been renewed for a second season.
