Pixel Artworks has named Marta Marinho as its new Creative Director for the Middle East, with the experienced creative leader joining the company’s Dubai studio to expand its immersive experience capabilities across the region. In her role, she will oversee multidisciplinary teams to develop narrative-led, technology-powered environments for brands and cultural institutions, further elevating the studio’s approach to storytelling and experiential design.

Before joining Pixel Artworks, Marta spent eight years at Blit Studio in Barcelona, where she rose to creative director and led major experiential projects for brands including BMW, Audi, Cupra, Mango, Santander Bank, Absolut Vodka, Beefeater and Xiaomi. She also contributed to high-profile cultural and sporting events such as the Andorra Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai and the UCI MTB 2024 World Championships. Her portfolio spans immersive environments, projection mapping, interactive installations, and content for large-scale events and cultural venues.
She played a significant creative role in the“Frida Kahlo: Life of a Myth” exhibition in Barcelona, which combines digital art, VR elements, interactive installations, and audiovisual storytelling to reinterpret the artist’s life for modern audiences. She has also contributed to innovative VR and AI-driven experimental spaces, pushing the boundaries of multisensory storytelling.
Recognised for her concept-driven approach, attention to detail and collaborative leadership style, Marinho guides projects from research and script development to storyboarding, production coordination and final delivery. Her strength in technical integration and immersive media enables her to bridge creative vision with high-precision execution.
Drawing inspiration from music, nature and the discipline shaped by her early years as a competitive swimmer, Marinho brings a mix of focus, curiosity and resilience to her work. Her global experience and multidisciplinary expertise position her to play a pivotal role in advancing Pixel Artworks’ mission to craft emotionally engaging and innovative experiences for audiences in the Middle East and beyond.
