A unique exhibitor present at CABSAT 2012, the Middle Easts largest digital and satellite media expo was Trikona Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The company exclusively deals with the concept of film preservation by using the best technology and creative artists on board for the Colouration & Restoration of films and television series filmed during the 70s. Additionally this firm also deals with 3D Holographic Display and even converts 2D to 3D.
With the invention of HD TVs, viewers no longer accept damaged content or content fit for normal TVs. We aim at providing clean content to viewers, remarked C. Jagan Mohan, CEO of Trikona Technologies.
The company has worked on films by veteran Bollywood actors such as Raj Kumar and Dev Anand. On an international scale a number of Russian movies, filmed during the 70s and 80s era are part of their portfolio.
For the coloration process, the Russian films usually give colour samples for restoration. If not provided, the artistic team in the company offers opinions about the better options available. added Mohan.
