Under the deal, Roya will share its premium channels and originals on 1001, while 1001 will supply exclusive series and popular content to Roya’s streaming platform.
Roya Media Group has signed a strategic content distribution agreement with UAE-based digital firm 1001 OPS, the operator behind Iraq’s 1001 streaming platform. The partnership is set to strengthen digital entertainment offerings in both Jordan and Iraq through a content-sharing model.
Under the deal, Roya TV Platform will grant exclusive access to its premium digital channels and original productions on 1001’s streaming service, while 1001 will supply its sought-after series and entertainment programming to be featured on Roya’s own roya.tv platform.
Speaking about the agreement, Fares Sayegh, CEO of Roya Media Group, said: “This collaboration underscores our commitment to delivering engaging, locally resonant content to our audiences. By joining forces with 1001 OPS, we’re expanding our digital footprint and enabling a richer, more diverse entertainment experience for viewers across the region.”
As part of the agreement, Roya’s content will be made available exclusively on the 1001.tv platform within Iraq, ensuring compliance with territorial rights and content protection standards.
The partnership demonstrates both companies’ focus on innovation and cross-border collaboration in the MENA region’s rapidly growing media landscape. Together, Roya Media Group and 1001 OPS aim to deliver a high-quality viewing experience filled with regional storytelling and cross-cultural programming.
