SABCO Media, the privately-owned media group in the Sultanate of Oman, has named Omar Othman as its new Chief Executive Officer, a move that underscores the group’s commitment to growth and innovation across the region’s dynamic media landscape.
The company, a part of the SABCO Group established in 1977, operates through three core entities—SABCO Art, SABCO Media and SABCO Press. Collectively, they span a diverse range of media services, including radio broadcasting, digital platforms, television production and outdoor advertising.
Omar Othman joins SABCO Media with more than two decades of executive experience in media leadership, digital transformation and strategic partnerships. He has held key roles in leading regional media firms such as Al Aan TV, OSN and MBC Group, where he was instrumental in content innovation, digital growth and forging high-impact commercial alliances across broadcast and streaming sectors.
