Es’hailSat, the Qatar Satellite Company, has signed a strategic partnership framework with Canada-based global satellite operator Telesat to collaborate on the future delivery of low-earth-orbit satellite connectivity services in Qatar and selected international markets. The agreement reflects Es’hailSat’s strategy to broaden and strengthen its satellite communications portfolio, providing customers with high-performance, resilient and scalable connectivity solutions.
Under the partnership, Es’hailSat and Telesat will explore joint opportunities across a range of sectors, including government services, enterprise digital transformation and mobility applications. The collaboration is aimed at evaluating how next-generation LEO services can complement Es’hailSat’s existing satellite assets and teleport infrastructure, while supporting growing demand for advanced connectivity solutions.
