Satellite operator SES will be at CABSAT 2019 to speak about the transformation it has brought to the satellite industry with its O3b MEO constellation, claiming high-performance connectivity to millions of people and places around the globe.

Alongside this, SES will also highlight the features of the SES-12 satellite, its third hybrid geostationary satellite with widebeams and high throughput spot beams. This satellite serves the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, including rapidly growing markets like India and Indonesia. It features a Digital Transparent Processor that increases payload flexibility to provide customised bandwidth solutions to its customers. Most of SES? clients on NSS-6 will migrate to SES-12. This enables DTH operators in the APAC market to deliver more channels and support on-demand platforms for time- and location-shifted video content. It also claims to empower people, communities and businesses in Middle East with high-speed connectivity. The many benefits include the ability for fixed data customers to connect offices and sites across underserved areas; reliable broadband services for governments to bridge the digital divide and fulfil connectivity demands for airlines and vessels travelling along the region’s busiest aeronautical and maritime routes.
