The shortlist of nominees will be announced on January 13, 2026.
Saudi Media Forum Chairman Mohammed Al-Harthi has announced the launch of the Saudi Media Award 2026, with the ceremony scheduled to take place during the Saudi Media Forum and the Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX), set for February 2–4, 2026. The new edition of the award will once again highlight outstanding contributions across the media sector and celebrate professionals driving the industry forward.
According to SPA, the award is supported and sponsored by Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary and organised in partnership with the Ministry of Media and the Human Capability Development Programme, one of the key pillars of Saudi Vision 2030. Al-Harthi explained that the initiative continues to serve as a national platform recognising creative talent, intellectuals and emerging media professionals who bring innovation and value to the Kingdom’s media landscape.
He noted that the sustained support of the minister of media has played a major role in elevating the award’s stature and widening its reach with each edition. Al-Harthi added that the initiative aligns with broader efforts to shape a modern media environment that enhances content quality, strengthens Saudi media identity, and raises professional standards while boosting the Kingdom’s regional and international influence.
The timeline for the Saudi Media Award 2026 has been confirmed, with submissions opening on November 21, 2025. Registration will close on January 1, 2026, and the shortlist of nominees will be announced on January 13, ahead of the awards ceremony on February 4, 2026.
