XOR Media, formerly SeaChange Broadcast Servers & Storage group, comes to BroadcastAsia for the first time as a newly independent company. At the event, XOR Media will showcase its open, cloud-capable, and media-centric technologies that broadcasting and media companies around the world have trusted, starting with a series of Universal MediaLibrary (UML) storage models boasting simultaneous NAS and SAN access.
The UML is seamlessly expandable in a scale-out NAS configuration supporting over 140PB of content. XOR Media will also provide the central storage and playout system for BCAs Over the Top (OTT) Technology exhibit.
XOR Media develops high-performance, open, IT storage, specialised for media applications and private cloud data centres. Formerly SeaChange Broadcast, XOR Media carries over an installed base of more than 300 top-tier customers; 12,000 channels on air; and 11PB of managed data. It operates globally with over 200 employees.
XOR Media’s product line includes open, cloud-capable, and media-optimised technologies used by hundreds of broadcasters and content providers around the world: ingest and playout codecs MediaClient and MediaServer; and the prize-winning, scalable Universal MediaLibrary storage.
The show in Singapore is the first major event for XOR Media in the Asia Pacific.
