Distributed by Animotion Media Group, the new season unveils a fresh storyline in which Professor Eugenius launches a museum dedicated to entertaining sciences.
Animotion Media Group, the UAE-based producer and distributor of animated content for children and families, has announced that Season 5 of the animated series The Fixies is now available to stream on Shahid, offering Arabic-speaking audiences early access to the latest season.
The Fixies, an animated edutainment series centred on tiny creatures who secretly live inside machines and keep them running, continues to gain strong traction across the MENA region. The show is widely recognised for combining engaging storytelling with educational themes focused on science, technology and teamwork, and has attracted more than 30m views on its Arabic YouTube channel, cementing its status as a family favourite.
In the newly released fifth season, Professor Eugenius opens a museum dedicated to entertaining sciences, with the Fixies helping bring the exhibits to life. The season introduces a new Fixie character, Mega, alongside a night guard who remains unaware of the Fixies’ hidden world, adding new twists to the storyline. As in previous seasons, the Fixies continue to stay out of sight while guiding young viewers through lessons on curiosity, exploration and collaboration.
Tareq Alibrahim, Director of Content at Shahid and Director of MBC1, MBC Drama and MBC Iraq, said the addition of Season 5 reflects Shahid’s strategy of expanding its diverse content library to serve different age groups across the region. He noted that the new season brings fresh stories, new characters and educational entertainment tailored for younger audiences.
