Existing STC customers who do not have a Shahid subscription or new subscribers may avail of this promotional offer, which ends on May 23, 2020.
STC and MBC Group have teamed up to offer Shahid VIP, MBC’s premium subscription video on demand (SVOD) service, to STC customers for no additional cost for a period of two months. This offer is available to all STC customers who do not currently have a Shahid subscription and runs until May 23, 2020.
According to the agreement, STC subscribers will receive a two-month Shahid VIP package free-of-charge when they sign up to the platform through their packages. Following the promotion, subscribers who want to retain Shahid may do so for a monthly payment of USD 5.43, which may be directly added to a customer’s STC post-paid monthly bill for convenience. Payment is also available via deduction from a prepaid offering via the “sawa” SIM. In parallel, work is currently underway to launch joint packages and offers between Jawwy TV and Shahid VIP, in addition to offering a wide range of vouchers to customers.
This partnership comes in conjunction with MBC Group launching an exclusive and diverse set of Arabic-language series and other programmes this Ramadan, in addition to Shahid Originals and Shahid Premieres offering exclusive content shown for the first time in addition to Disney entertainment. Meanwhile, content on Shahid VIP can be downloaded for offline viewing and is streamed ad-free for no interruptions.
