twofour54 showcased works of partners in both English and Arabic at the latest twofour54 Abu Dhabi Connect event on May 13.
Representatives of the free zone, media firms, and government entities, came together to learn from each other about the work being done by Abu Dhabis media industry.
H.E. Maryam Eid AlMheiri, CEO of Media Zone Authority Abu Dhabi and twofour54, said: Our region has one of the most youthful populations on the planet, which presents a huge opportunity to media firms from around the world to meet the growing appetite of Arab millennials for quality content.
It is also vital that we preserve and promote our language for future generations, which is why I was proud to see so many Abu Dhabi media firms showcasing their quality Arabic content at Connect.
Media Company, Vice Arabia, premiered their new Arabic short film documentary Tal El Rob directed by Bahraini Director Razan Alzayani.
Among the twofour54 partners that were present were mental images who demonstrated their new virtual reality educational experience on Mars, Bidaya Media, which is preparing to film the 3rd season of the childrens TV show Iftah Ya Simsim this year, animation firm Blink Studios, Arabic popular TV channel Quest Arabiya and live streaming service Swoo TV.
As well as showcasing their content, attendees were also able to network with public sector entities focused on youth and education.
The event was hosted by 24-year-old Ulfah Al Kaabi, Digital Community Executive at twofour54, and Shams, one of the star muppets of Iftah Ya Simsim.
