ViewSat, the fast growing global broadcasting company for television and radio channels, has chosen IS20 to support growth in Sub-Saharan Africa.
From its origin serving only Sub-Saharan Africa in 2006, ViewSat has grown to become a global satellite provider, extending its reach to additional areas, including the Middle East, Europe and North America. We have chosen to extend our partnership with IntelSat in response to our growth aims in 2013, said Awaes Jaswal, CEO, Viewsat. We are proud to build on a strong start to 2013, in terms of growth and attendance at a range of worldwide exhibitions from the beginning of the year, with this new agreement.
ViewSat are happy to respond to additional demands in the market and extend their offering and capacity in this busy region. Catering for the Sub-Saharan region is where we started, continued Mr Jaswal, so we are happy to focus here to expand our space offering, as well as regions served. We hope to reach additional viewers with this agreement and further boost our ongoing growth in the market.
With uplink, downlink and turnaround facilities in both Europe and Africa, ViewSat offer a growing number of channels reliable and efficient DTH services. ViewSat currently broadcast both religious and general entertainment channels.
IS20 allows us the enhanced capacity to offer our clients, regardless of message, size or expertise, the opportunity to broadcast to this busy region and reach millions of homes across Sub Saharan Africa. Mr Jaswal concludes, We look forward to further growth in the remainder of 2013 and into the new year.
