In addition, the workshop featured the first-ever display of the Godox MG4K in the GCC, giving attendees an exclusive preview of the new lighting innovation.
Advanced Media hosted a workshop on September 26 at Garage Studios in Al Quoz, bringing together filmmakers, directors of photography, and content creators for the Godox Knowled Lighting Festival, where lighting innovation took centre stage.
The event attracted over 80 participants from across the UAE’s creative industries, offering an immersive exploration of Godox’s latest lighting technologies.
The workshop was led by Hasan Aslan, a Director of Photography known for his technical expertise and cinematic vision. Aslan guided attendees through a detailed demonstration of Godox lighting products and their applications across commercial, film and studio environments, highlighting how these tools are shaping the future of video production.
Participants experienced a series of custom-built sets designed to showcase the versatility of Godox lighting in real-world scenarios. From an underwater pool setup to a Viking-inspired scene emphasising cinematic shadows, each environment offered a creative challenge. A dramatic boxing scene with cascading water illustrated the impact of motion and intensity using Godox Knowled water-resistant lights, while a green screen setup powered by the Godox KNOWLED app offered insights into virtual production workflows.
The workshop also featured the GCC debut of the Godox MG4K, giving attendees an exclusive first look at the company’s newest lighting innovation. Karim Abadir, Godox Brand Manager, said: “Godox is always innovating, and we’re proud at Advanced Media to bring those advancements to the creative community.
