Scheduled to take place at Hollywood’s renowned Dolby Theatre this March, the 96th Oscars, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, promises to be a night of glamour and celebration, honouring the finest achievements in cinema from the year 2023. From performances to exceptional craftsmanship in various categories such as acting, music, and directing, the event is poised to captivate audiences worldwide.
Viewers across the MENA region can catch all the action live on Al Thaqafeyah starting from 11:30 pm KSA on Sunday, March 10. Leading the proceedings for the fourth time is the US television host and comedian, Jimmy Kimmel, with production helmed by Raj Kapoor, Molly McNearney, and Katy Mullan.
Among the most nominated films, Oppenheimer leads the pack with 13 nominations, followed closely by Poor Things with 11 nods and Killers of the Flower Moon with 10 nominations.
The Best Picture category boasts a diverse array of outstanding productions, including American Fiction, Anatomy of a Fall, Barbie, The Holdovers, Maestro, Past Lives, and The Zone of Interest.
